Easter Egg Design Ideas
  • Use ribbons, buttons, or stickers to decorate your eggs.
  • You can create your own new colors with some experimentation - for instance to make orange dye, mix a small amount of red coloring with yellow.
  • Try crayon resist. Use a crayon to create swirls, designs, write your name. The wax helps resist the coloring and lets your designs show through.
  • Use stickers, sequins, buttons, beads, and glitter to decorate your egg.
  • Tie Dye your egg – use the same method as your shirt by wrapping rubber bands around your hardboiled egg before coloring.
  • Make bunnies with your hardboiled eggs. Use craft material like google eyes, cotton ball for a tail, and chenille stems for ears. Make a nose and mouth with sharpie pen.
